Welcome to UA Local 853!

We are very excited to launch this website. We hope to provide a valuable resource to our Members, as well as others who are interested in the Sprinkler and Fire Protection Industry.

Upon receiving our charter in 1976, we can be proud of the remarkable work of members past and present who have dedicated themselves to Local 853 and the people of Ontario. Working in the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional and Residential sectors our highly skilled tradesman provide their skill and expertise in making Ontario a safe place to live .

With expanded training programs and education we are ready to move forward into the future, maintaining the high standards required in today’s highly technical and changing workplace.

By means of a strong strategic plan U.A. Local 853 will endeavor to keep acquiring a larger share of the construction market and strong growth in our membership through-out the Province.

We have established a legacy that future generations of Local 853 can be proud of and build upon.
